Dr. Kevin Homer is native to the Michigan thumb area. He grew up in Imlay City, where he worked at his family’s local concrete and bowling alley businesses.
After spending a few years working at a factory and seeing first hand the spinal problems caused by repetitive factory work, he decided to pursue a career in fixing these types of problems caused by normal day to day living. Becoming a Chiropractor was the perfect choice for him.
Dr. Homer moved to Spartanburg, SC in 1997 where he completed his undergraduate work at Greenville Technical College and graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2001. Upon completion, he moved back home to Michigan.
As a physician, Dr. Homer has practiced at various locations around the Detroit area for 14 years. From Jackson and then to Battle Creek, he has helped thousands of patients achieve better health through chiropractic care.
“Chiropractic care isn’t for everyone…only those with a spine!”
“The current model for health care is a backwards model. It supports the ‘Don’t fix it till it’s broken’ way of thinking. I believe we should ‘Prevent it from breaking!’ ”
When not in the office, Dr. Homer enjoys spending time with his children Kathryn & Zachary who both attend Bad Axe Schools. He enjoys meeting new people in the community & doing anything outdoors. It would not be uncommon to find him touring the lake shore, biking, or just sampling the local cuisines that the area has to offer.
